Susie Q's Chili

Ingredients:

1-19 oz bag Susie Q’s Pinquito Beans with Seasoning
1 tbsp olive oil
2 large yellow onions, diced
1 lb ground beef or turkey
1 tbsp Susie Q’s Santa Maria Style Seasoning
1 pkg Susie’s California Bean Seasoning
1 jar Susie Q’s Salsa

Directions:

 
In large pot, start pinquito beans according to package directions with enclosed seasoning packet, reducing water to 1 quart. Bring to a boil while preparing meat in the next step.
Heat olive oil in skillet. Add diced onions and ground beef. Season with Susie Q’s Santa Maria Style Seasoning and sauté until crumbly and done. Drain off excess fat if desired, and then add meat mixture to pot of beans. Stir in packet of California Bean Seasoning and jar of Susie Q’s Salsa. 
When mixture comes to boil, reduce heat to simmer and cook 2 hours or until beans are tender. Add up to 1 additional quart water as needed and depending upon the thickness of chili that you desire.
Serve with garnishments on the side: grated cheese, sour cream, diced onion (red, green or yellow), sliced avocado, chopped cilantro, sliced jalapeno chilies, crackers or tortilla chips.
